Biography
Bojan Vračarević was born in Brus, where he finished primary and secondary school. He graduated in January 2007 at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade, module: International Economics and Foreign Trade (thesis – “Transnational Companies and Foreign Direct Investment in Serbia”). He completed a master’s degree in academic studies at the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade, module: Economic Policy and Development, defending a master’s thesis entitled “Scope of Economic Measures and Instruments of Environmental Protection in Urban Transport” in December 2012. He defended his doctoral thesis entitled “Sustainable Urban Development and Determinants of Urban Transport Energy Consumption: A Theoretical and Empirical Analysis” on October 7, 2019 at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade.
After graduating from the Faculty of Economics in Belgrade he started working in Profil Group (a consulting company for recruitment and selection of personnel and consulting in the field of human resource management) as an assistant, where he worked until October 2009.
From November 2010 to March 2011, he worked at the Faculty of Geography in Belgrade under a teaching contract.
In March 2011, he was elected Teaching associate for the economic courses at the Faculty of Geography, University of Belgrade.
In April 2013, he was elected Assistant for the scientific field of Spatial Planning (group of economic courses) at the Faculty of Geography, University of Belgrade.
In July 2020, he was elected Assistant professor for the scientific field of Spatial Planning (group of economic courses) at the Faculty of Geography, University of Belgrade.
