Biography

Aljoša Budović, PhD, serves as an assistant professor in the Department of Human Geography at the Faculty of Geography in Belgrade. He earned his doctoral degree in geosciences from the same institution. In 2016, he was awarded the BAYHOST Mobility Grant at the Institute for Geography, Otto-Friedrich University of Bamberg. In 2023, was a visiting researcher at the Institute for Urban and Regional Research, funded by the OEAW mobility programme “Joint Excellence in Science and Humanities” (JESH). Aljoša Budović has authored a number of articles in peer reviewed journals and participated in several national and international scientific projects. His research interests predominantly lie in the fields of urban and economic geography.
