Biography
Zora Živanović is an Associate Professor at the Department for Spatial Planning at the Faculty of Geography, University of Belgrade (UB-GEF) where she has been working since 2001. Teaches 3 undergraduate subjects, 2 master subjects and 1 PhD subject. Head of Department and Head of the chair from 2021. She received her PhD degree from the Faculty of geography, University of Belgrade in 2012 (Role of Medium-sized Cities in Uniform Regional Development of Central Serbia). During 2013 she was on post-doctoral training at the State University in Saint Petersburg, at the Faculty of Geography and Geoecology and at Scientific Project Institute for Spatial Planning. Her main areas are spatial planning, regional planning, urban and rural geography. Her planning interests are in urban and rural regions, urban centres, network of settlement. Published 70 research and expert papers in domestic and international journals and publications, three scientific monographs, participated in preparation of 11 spatial plans on national, regional and local levels and 6 scientific research projects.
