Биографија
MINA MARKOVIĆ graduated from Valjevo Gymnasium. She enrolled at the Faculty of Geography, University of Belgrade, in the 2019/2020 academic year. She completed her undergraduate studies on September 28, 2023, with an average grade of 9.98. Her final thesis, titled “Geographical Characteristics of the Industrial Development of the City of Valjevo,” was written under the mentorship of Assistant Professor Dr. Nikola Jocić and defended with a grade of 10 (ten), earning her the title of Graduate Geographer.
She is a two-time recipient of the “Dositeja” scholarship awarded by the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation. Thanks to her outstanding academic achievements during her undergraduate studies, she received the following awards on the Faculty Day in 2024:
- the award for Student of the Generation of the Faculty of Geography for the 2022/23 academic year,
- the award for Student of the Generation in the study program Geography for the 2022/2023 academic year,
- the award for the best final thesis in the study program Geography,
- a plaque from the Milica Mihajlović Foundation for exceptional achievement in the study program Geography.
On the occasion of University of Belgrade Day, September 13, 2024, she was awarded a certificate of excellence for outstanding academic performance, as well as the award for the best student of the generation of the Faculty of Geography who graduated in the 2022/2023 academic year.
She enrolled in master academic studies in the 2023/2024 academic year at the Faculty of Geography, University of Belgrade, in the study program Geography, and completed them with an average grade of 10.00. After defending her master’s thesis, she enrolled in doctoral studies in the 2024/2025 academic year at the Faculty of Geography, in the study program Geosciences. During the 2024/2025 academic year, she worked as a teaching associate at the Faculty of Geography. In the 2025/2026 academic year, she was elected to the position of assistant at the Department of Didactics and Teaching Methodology in Geography.
