Циљ предмета
Mastering basic economic concepts and methods in the field of urban and environmental economics, as well as understanding the links between urban development and the environment.
Исход предмета
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
• understand the key concepts of urban and environmental economics;
• understand the variety of impacts of urban development on regional and economic development;
• understand the importance of urban development management;
• understand the interdependence of economy and environmental protection;
• critically discuss global challenges in the sphere of the environment and urban development;
• identify characteristics and scope of different environmental protection policies.
