Циљ предмета
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the specifics of the impact of demographic processes and structures on the sustainability of modern society, the state and the economic system; basic and alternative sources of population data and; demographic principles of formulating a political response to the challenges of sustainable development.
Исход предмета
After successful completion of the course, the candidate will be able to:
– uses sources of demographic data;
– understands the nature of the connection of demographic processes and structures with sustainable development;
– interprets demographic data in the context of sustainable development;
– proposes public policy measures based on knowledge of demographic processes;
